This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in in this class of hotels. First of all, it was clean. The room was a nice size. It was quiet. The staff seemed pleasant. The thing though that sent it over the top to a 5 star rating was breakfast. It was a hot breakfast with cheese omelette and sausage, a selection of breads and pastries, oatmeal, cold cereal, waffles, hard boiled eggs and lots of fruit including a fresh cut fruit salad that was delicious. They even had a bowl of mints by the elevator and bag breakfasts on a counter for folks who didn’t have time to sit and eat. They def get an A+ from both of us.

We have stayed at this particular hotel numerous times as we have family in the area. They have always gone out of their way to provide us with amazing service. This particular trip was to attend a family funeral. The staff at the Hampton allowed us to use the lobby as an informal meeting space for family to meet up as they arrived in Tunkhannock. We had people arriving from numerous states at various times in the evening, the lobby was a perfect location to meet one another. We were even allowed to set up pizza and beverages so everyone could have an evening meal together. This hotel has aways treated us well. Would highly recommend it.

The room was smaller than I anticipated and the beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I’m glad it was only a one night stay because I woke up feeling like a truck hit me. The continental breakfast was delicious with several different options. The pool and hot tub were wonderful!

I use the Hampton Inn in Tunkhannock often to visit family. Staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. We also earn Hilton points by staying there!!

Rugs need shampooing once in an awhile. Also granddaughter had bite marks and bridesmaids they stayed on second floor.

Quality place. Easy check in and out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bathroom clean. Restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of hot and cold items. I’d definitely stay here again.

Well maintained, staff professional, clean rooms, nice breakfast. The hotel is in a nice location. The receptionist that greeted us was courteous. Lots of parking. Lobby area and breakfast area was spacious.
